Fordham Law has approximately 65 full-time professors and over 200 adjunct professors. With respect to its faulty, the school boasts that, “as scholars, they have been published in all of the top law reviews and have been cited in decisions by the Supreme Court. Their true expertise, however, lies in their teaching. Our faculty is committed to preparing students for the practice of law and to stimulating their interest in legal scholarship. Fordham Law has a diverse student body, with students hailing from 70 countries across the globe. When it comes to extracurricular activity, students have the opportunity to participate in one of the school’s scholarly journals, including the Fordham Law Review; Fordham Urban Law Journal; Fordham International Law Journal; Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal; Fordham Environmental Law Review; Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law. In addition, “Fordham Law students have endless opportunities to explore the city and enjoy all that it has to offer: Central Park, Broadway, The Tribeca Film Festival, The New York Yankees, MoMA, Chinatown, Greenwich Village. The iconic list of things to do and see is topped only by the thousands of vibrant and quirky diversions found around virtually any corner in New York City. With respect to student housing, there are rooms located on the Lincoln Center campus and Fordham Law has access to apartments located on the east side of Manhattan. In addition, students may wish to find a rental on their own in one of New York City’s other boroughs that are within commutable distance to Fordham Law. Housing in areas outside of Manhattan tend to be more affordable.
