The school has a diverse student body that represents approximately 207 undergraduate institutions, 44 states, and 6 foreign countries. When it comes to student life, there are more than 40 student organizations and 7 law journals, including the The George Washington Law Review, The George Washington International Law Review, Federal Circuit Bar Journal, The Public Contract Law Journal, The American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal, International Law in Domestic Courts, and The Journal of Energy and Environmental Law. In addition, “it's difficult to run out of things to do in Washington, D.C. Situated in the heart of the city, GW is in close proximity to most of the capital's world famous museums and monuments and the city's other rich cultural attractions.” (GW Law Website)

With respect to student housing, there are a limited number of apartments available to GW Law students in apartment buildings located a few blocks from the law school.
