The School has more than 100 faculty members. The school boasts, “UCLA School of Law's faculty is emerging as the strongest faculty in the country. We have some of the nation and world's leading experts in traditional areas like Environmental Law, Entertainment Law, Constitutional Law, and Public Interest & Policy” (UCLA Law Website)

The School has a diverse student body, which represents 110 undergraduate institutions, 9 foreign countries and 31% of students are from other states. When it comes to student life, there are approximately 50 student organizations and 13 scholarly journals. For health enthusiasts, “UCLA offers a number of athletic, recreation and fitness programs that law students can access.” (UCLA Website) For those wishing to venture off campus, students are certain to find something of interest in Los Angeles, from visiting one of its many theatres and museums, to attending sporting events. And with the Pacific Ocean only seven miles from campus, sun and sand relaxation is only a short drive away.

With respect to student housing, there are university-owned apartments available for single students as well as those who are married or have children. In addition, for those who prefer to reside in privately-owned units, the school has a number of resources to assist students with their search.
