The Yale Law School admissions process is extremely competitive. “In recent years, Yale Law School has received approximately 3,400 applications for fewer than 200 spots in the first-year class.” (Yale Law Website) Nevertheless, Yale Law School encourages applications and states that they “consider everything—including your essays, recommendations, activities, awards, work experience, and background. We treat applications the way we treat each student: as an individual. Accordingly, we do not use a formula or index to weigh various factors, nor do we have a GPA or LSAT score cutoff.” (Yale Law Website)
